What We Need You To Do

Follow the guidelines as outlined above in the Health and Safety Policy.

What We're Doing

Spacing workout equipment to provide for adequate separation between members.

Providing additional disinfecting wipes for use on equipment and hand sanitizer for all members and staff.

Dedicating additional staff to ensure that all preventative measures are being successfully implemented and followed.

What We Recommend

Members should consider bringing and wearing cloth face coverings over the nose and mouth (when safe to do so considering exercise) within 6 feet of others not within the Member’s household. If available, members should consider wearing non-medical grade face masks.

Individuals at a higher risk of COVID-19 or those 65 or older continue to stay home as much as possible and take additional precautions out in public.

Summer Camps

As you’ve come to expect of our camps, we offer your children an experience that is fun, engaging and safe. Under the current state guidelines for Texas summer camps, we are unfortunately unable to keep our promise of a high-quality service that protects the health, safety and quality of our camp, campers and staff. In light of this, we have made the necessary decision to cancel our Full-Day Summer Camps through July 5. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes for your family. Any fees that have been paid for our Full-Day Summer Camps during this time period will be refunded to you in full.

Although we are not able to offer full-day camps, we have many other programs available to your children in June. The enrichment half-day camps and programs are in a smaller, more focused setting, allowing us to uphold our commitment to quality, health and safety for both participants and staff. You can review our available summer programs linked below.

Here are some important things to remember if you are bringing your children to our programs in June:

  • You will be asked to wait in your car while dropping off and picking up your children. Please allow additional time at check in and pick up for this process.
  • Children will have their temperature checked prior to entering the facility by an infrared thermometer.
  • Additional cleaning, sanitizing and hand washing will occur regularly.
  • Please be aware of the enhanced risks of campers being in direct contact with anyone age 65 or older for 14 days after the end of each camp session.
  • Participants will be asked to maintain social distancing.
  • Masks are required for all participants 10 years or older, and gloves are encouraged but not required.
  • Before you arrive to check in self-screen at home for:
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Chills
    • Repeated shaking with chills
    • Muscle pain
    • Headache
    • Sore throat
    • Loss of taste or smell
    • Diarrhea
    • Feeling feverish or a measured temperature greater than or equal to 100ºF
    • Known close contact with a person who is lab confirmed to have COVID-19

It’s not yet clear whether we will be able to offer Full-Day Summer Camps later in the summer; we will be reviewing orders from Governor Abbott as they are released, and will continue to share updates with our membership and the general public. In the meantime, thank you so much for your understanding and support. We look forward to seeing you and your family at The Pointe soon.
